Dynamic Warmframe JDP [Timber Frame]

Dynamic Warmframe (JDP) products are designed as partial fill cavity wall insulation for use in conventional timber frame construction.

JDP is manufactured by Jablite and supplied by A Proctor Group as Graphite Impregnated Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) for standard 75 / 100 cavities:

  • JDP-75, JDP-100 (XSTC-1075, XSTC-1100)
  • Density 25 kgm-3
  • Thermal conductivity 0.030 Wm-1K-1
  • Design back pressure <2Pa (‘K’ value of 0.030W/m2.K)
  • Supplied as EPS 70 (BS EN 13163 - Reaction to Fire Class E, containing a flame-retardant additive)

EPS is recognised for its excellent energy efficiency and low environmental impact with a zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) and low GWP (Global Warming Potential).

Dynamic Warmframe (JDP) Insulation System

The Warmframe Dynamic Insulation system enables builders and designers to attain Code 3 and Code 4 standards of fabric performance using thin stud construction.

The Dynamic Warmframe product (JDP) is an EPS panel that is affixed to the OSB. A 100mm panel can provide the same thermal performance as 175mm of PIR.

This added thermal performance can offset other aspects of the construction to permit, for instance, dwellings to be constructed using 89mm stud depths insulated with conventional mineral wool (λ=0.035 W/m.K). Consequently, superior performance dwellings can be constructed with reduced build costs, for example a £1,100 reduction in build costs for a typical 120m2 detached dwelling.

The Dynamic Warmframe (JDP) panel is available in thicknesses of 75mm, 100mm and 125mm.

It has been fully tested by NPL and its performance is recognised in SAP Appendix.
