Energyflo client, Lomond Homes, recently presented at the prestigious Building Technologies Showcase on the benefits of Dynamic Insulation.

The Fife Construction Forum event was held at Carnegie Conference Centre, Dunfermline, on May 30th and saw Derek Grubb, senior architectural technician at Lomond, deliver a presentation entitled “Dynamic Insulation: Breathing New Life Into Familiar Construction”.

 

lomondhomeshowcaseThe presentation can be viewed here, and focuses on the benefits of the technology for both end users and contractors. These range from cost effectiveness, air quality improvement and flexibility.

Lomond Homes are currently working with EnergyFlo on premises in Dunfermline, Anstruther, Cupar and Lochgelly.

A recent case study on homes built for the Fife Housing Alliance and Kingdom Housing Association using thin wall construction revealed a 38% saving in space heating gas consumption as well as a 34% reduction in CO2 emissions. You can view the full case study here.
